Part-time remediation postion for Summer School Program.  

 

 

Job Summary

 

To enable each child/student to pursue an education as smoothly and completely as possible in the summer school program

 

Essential Duties

 

  1. Reports to the School Office upon arrival at school to sign-in.

 

  1. Reviews with the  plans, attendance forms, and schedules to be followed during the teaching day and will contact the office with questions.

 

  1. Teaches the lessons outlined in the absent teacher’s lesson plan.

 

  1. Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practices dictates.

 

  1. Assumes responsibility for pupil behavior in class during lunch and recess periods, and during fire of other disaster drills.

 

  1. Lists assignments made and evaluates student’s work.

 

  1. Performs such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)

 

Must possess a high school diploma (or GED), an associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree.  Minimum age shall be eighteen (18) years of age.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
