Job Summary
Maintain the school’s financial records and furnishing financial data as required or requested; and contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the school office.
Essential Duties
- Contributes to the usual office routines and practices associated with a productive and smoothly run office.
- Files financial records and other materials by a plan so that records may be readily available.
- Obtains, gathers, and organizes financial data as needed, and puts into usable form.
- Keeps confidential all office information and transactions that should be handled in a professional manner.
- Receives telephone calls, messages, and questions in a courteous, polite and helpful manner.
- Orders and maintains accounting supplies as needed.
- Reproduces and provides financial reports as directed by the Principal.
- Attend meetings as requested by the Principal.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Principal.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)
Must be a high school, business, or commercial school graduate and two years of secretarial or bookkeeping experience is required. Ability to perform secretarial/bookkeeping duties and follow state and county accounting procedures. Ability to demonstrate satisfactory performance in typing, filing, record keeping, and office procedure. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
