Job Title:      ISS Instructional Paraprofessional 

Terms of Employment:  185 Days 

Pay Grade:  105 (High School Diploma) 106 (Associate Degree) 107 (Bachlor Degree)

Job Summary:  

The In-School Suspension (ISS) Instructional Paraprofessional is responsible for maintaining a structured, safe, and productive learning environment for students in grades 6–8 assigned to In-School Suspension. Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this individual supervises students, supports completion of academic assignments, reinforces positive behavior expectations, maintains accurate records, and helps students successfully transition back to their regular instructional setting.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications 

Must be a high school graduate and demonstrate an aptitude for the work to be performed.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
